Lol, I have never heard of this day before. We have one soldier here that talks like a pirate EVERYDAY, I am sure he must know about this day. He celebrates it everyday. I will ask him tomorrow!!

I knew that it was coming up, but couldn’t remember when! I just mentioned this to my students this past Monday…dang it..I just missed it…arrgghh!

At the school where I substitute the preschool class dressed with bandanas, carried hooks, and had badges on with their pirate names. They got to visit all the kindergarten classes looking for a lost treasure. It was so cute!! At the end of the day they sang a pirate song over the intercom. You could tell they had a lot of fun.
