I reallly don't take it personal that most of my kids want to play on computer games. I can think of many more activities that would be more detrimental than playing word scrambles on the internet. As long as my students are completing assignments that I give them, I am happy. Maybe I am not expecting enough out of my students. I think that my lab is a great place to learn, what is wrong with playing games once they are done with assignments?
