This type of technology, if I had the time to spend on, would be ideal for my classes. I could use the audio for their listening. That has been one of my concerns about any other type of class other than inclass for foreign language. If we could get past the proxy problems and all students had access and .... This is something to think about...... Maybe as Traci said, for extra credit, it would be a start. I would love to learn more about it!I've saved it to my favorites to spend some time on during Fall break....

I am such a sucker for new stuff! After going to this site, I began playing around with wiki web site creator and I am in the process of trying to create an online classroom for my students. One of the biggest problems I have been running into is that Proxys are the devil! After I created a blog for my students, they are not able to access because of the Proxy in our school district - I may have to consider giving extra credit and let them do it at home! I am in the process of getting that cleared up.

I loved the way this teacher created an animated video of herself and provided an audio and visual. I would like to do something like that - I am in the process of investigating that type of technology! I wish things just didn't take so much time! (There again Time-Time-Time: refer to my blog)

I have to agree with both of you. This really puts teaching on a different level. Students would acutally enjoy learning like this.

This is really cool. I love it. I think that all high school students would love to learn like this. They are all tech people these days. I agree with Jen I see where technology is taking us and I can see the benifits of it as well.

I really have to applaud her on this one. A lot of people learn by doing, so to teach a business and IT course by making the students interact with all the different technologies is a brilliant idea. I wish we could have done something like than when I was in high school. It's a completely different way of teaching that breaks out of the norm and peaks the students' interests. Just the fact that it is computer based is probably enough to engage the students and make them want to learn. Although I personally do enjoy the classroom setting, I can see where technology is taking us and I believe in the future it will be outside of the classroom.
